Promotion Exam Video
Sensei Gardner just forwarded us the video he took of Master Pearson’s and Master Humbel’s exam. He only recorded a very small portion of the exam, so we thought we would put together a short “Trailer” with the footage.
Master Pearson & Master Humbel Promoted
Master Pearson and Master Humbel both tested for their next rank in Taekwondo on Friday, April 26th. The exam was conducted by Grandmaster Kyongwon Ahn. Grandmaster Randolph Smith Sr., Grandmaster August O’Neal, Grandmaster Kim Limes and Grandmaster James Beasley were at the examination table with Grandmaster Ahn and acted as graders. Master Pearson was awarded the rank of 7th Dan and Master Humbel was awarded the rank of 6th Dan. Video of the examination will be posted by the end of the week.

“Inside Taekwondo” Available & Selling in Europe
Master Pearson’s book, “Inside Taekwondo” is showing up in bookstores and online in Europe. According to the publisher, copies have already been sold and currently the book is selling better in Europe than in the US.
Master Pearson’s New Book Now Available
Master Pearson’s new book, “Inside Taekwondo” is now available on Amazon (US and Europe) and will be available at all the other major booksellers within a couple of weeks. This book is a collection of over 50 articles on the mental aspects of Taekwondo and other martial arts. The picture below is a link to the Amazon page for the book.

New Book: Inside Taekwondo
Master Pearson’s new book is finally complete and is heading off to the editor. It is a collection of 52 articles that he has written over the past few years and is around 200 pages in length. Assuming all goes well, it should be available on Amazon by the end of the month. We will post a link as soon as it is available.
